     Dr. Petri's knowledge and expertise as a staff developer is well-respected by administrators and teachers throughout Texas.  Dr. Janet Penner, Assistant Superintendent at Pearland ISD in Texas, says that "Dr. Petri is well-versed on national standards in reading and writing and quickly establishes rapport whether it is with students or teachers."

     She also works part time in the Northeast for Scholastic Inc. as a literacy consultant providing staff development for administrators and teachers as well as classroom coaching.
